USO volunteers help improve the quality of life of service members, to boost their morale and to serve as the link between service members and the American people. You m, ay be an active duty service member, family member, retired military, civilian - no matter, we have a place for you.

Active duty members earn points, letters and certificates of appreciation towards promotions or the Voluntary Service Medal.  Family members, retired military and civilians are awarded the same letters and certificates and they may be used for bulding your resume or portfolio.

Whichever category you belong, whatever the reason, it's really simple:  we need you.  From staffing the main center a couple of hours a day, night, weekend to serving at our AMC Terminal lounge, we have a spot for you.

If you are interested in making a difference to the military community here on Kadena, a difference to that stranded traveler or your fellow service member, inquire at the Information counter or contact me at [email protected]
